TO THE NEXT LEVEL
The Bonifas is always looking for new artists to showcase their work in gallery exhibits. Each year we host a variety of exhibits for artists to participate in, including the annual favorites of Northern Exposure, Bonifas Membership Show, and Youth in Art. Work is displayed in our beautiful Powers and Studio galleries at the Bonifas, and duration of shows last 6 to 8 weeks on average. All mediums are in consideration for display. Work will need to be submitted for approval by the Bonifas staff, but you need-not be a professional artist to submit—just a love of creating!

Reception: September 21, 6 – 8 pm
The More Than A Uniform Exhibit highlights service members, veterans, family members and caregivers and the art they make.
We want service members, veterans, family members and caregivers’ art to be seen and their voices to be heard. We hope that you will find a sense of understanding in this exhibit, that as the art is shared, the stigma around mental health and suicide will fade away in the face of a shared understanding.
A friendly reminder to any of the Veterans that have taken free classes offered at any of the partner art centers, you can submit that work into this show as well.
Artwork and application must be brought in by September 14 by 5:30 pm during our business hours: Tuesday - Friday: 10 - 5:30 pm and Saturday 10 - 3 pm
There is no fee to enter this show. Thank you for your service!

This is a juried show—meaning that you enter digital images of your work, we submit the photos to the juror, they select who gets into the show, and then we contact you letting you know if you made it in or not. Artists are invited to submit up to three pieces for jurying. The judging will be based on three equally weighted criteria: Creativity, Originality & Craftsmanship. Once a piece has been juried into the show, no substitutions will be accepted.
