The Bonifas offered festive artwork projects at the city of Escanaba's Rock the Dock event Sunday at the Municipal Dock in Ludington Park. Originally set for 6 to 8 p.m., Pasqua Warstler says they ended up staying until the music ended at 10 p.m. because their were so many kids interested in the art projects.
"We love what the city is doing with all of the activities in the park and we want to be a part of that," Pasqua said.
The kids did small firework paintings and painted ceramic tiles that they could take home with them.
The Bonifas tent was right next to the fish pond. Pasqua joked that they were stiff competition because the kids liked catching the bluegills.
"The were having a good time at the fish pond too. They were having a good time," she said.
Rock the Dock was held both Saturday and Sunday in Escanaba.
