By now it is official: life looks quite different than it used to before the COVID-19 pandemic. Many of us have more time to engage in our hobbies and pursue our interests.
We may not all have the time and the resources to commit to becoming a fully fledged artists, but most of us have some drive to engage in creative activities. Considering that the timeline of our lives going to a relative normal is unknown, the Bonifas is joining the ranks of institutions that strive to bring you education, entertainment and escape from reality through virtual programming.
On our website, you can tour our Gallery’s Youth in Art Exhibit through video and get ideas for simple, fun, creative projects to do at home. We are working on bringing to your streamable or live concerts and classes.
May 13 we are unrolling the online meditation class with Gene Schlueter that will be accessible through the Zoom platform with free registration at firstname.lastname@example.org. Other classes and series we are planning to make virtually available include cooking/baking workshops, as well as gardening and photography classes.
Later in the summer we hope to have virtual classes on painting, drawing and art for children if we are not able to hold the classes at the Bonifas. You can look for details on our web-site as we figure this new way of creating together.
