Brown Bag Luncheons at the Bonifas explore art, artists

All Brown Bags are held at the Bonifas Arts Center Studio and begin at Noon. The public is welcomed to join us during their lunch break. We'll provide the coffee, just bring your lunch! All sessions run about 30 to 45 minutes. There is no charge for Brown Bags programs.

Brown Bag Luncheons: Tuesdays from Noon – 1 p.m.

January 19 - Bone, Wind, Fire
A journey into the hearts, minds and eyes of artists Georgia O'Keefe, Emiy Carr and Fried Kahlo. (30 min)

January 26 - Plein Air Demo Tips & How-To's
Join us for a combination of practical hints and inspiring demonstrations including color strategies in Plein Air and Winter Light, that will peak the interest of art appreciators and artists alike. (30 minutes)

February 2 - Tributes to the Group of 7
This session begins with a brief introduction of the Canadian Group of 7 and continues with musical tributes to Canada's contribution to the art world.

February 16 - Tribute to Emily Carr
We will visit the unusual world, the haunting landscapes and the inspirations of Emily Carr, one of Canada's most influential painters.
