An event every 14 days that begins at 6:30 pm, repeating until November 19, 2015
INSTRUCTOR: Scott Leipski
DATES: Thursdays, November 5 and 19; 6:30 – 8 p.m.
At the end of the day don’t throw your unused clay trimmings into the recycle bin. With this class, Leipski uses homemade ingenuity to craft what he calls his “End of the Day” bowl.
The great thing about the bowls is that there are no rules. Texture them with anything laying around, decorate the rim, or simply go with a more classic look. Because they are formed upside down on pre-made plaster hump molds the results are often fun, whimsical, and completely unexpected. No two are ever alike. The final product will not only be a blast to make, but food safe as well.
And if you like this, be sure to look for Scott’s follow-up intermediate class in the winter, which will include the mold-making process itself.
