Master feltmaker Masha Kakhova leads a class in creating a light colorful cobweb felted scarf from fine wool, silk and other natural fibers. There will be an option to make a nuno felted scarf as well, using a piece of silk as a base for wool and other fibers. Make a beautiful one of a kind accessory for every season and occasion. About the Instructor: Masha Kakhova, owner at Marikah, is a fiber artist, feltmaker and a designer who hails from Moscow, Russia and lives in Marquette, MI. She is a big advocate of natural materials and handmade goods. Masha works with different techniques of felting including needle felting, wet feting, and nuno felting. She enjoys making items for home as well as garments. As a part of the international community of feltmakers, Masha has learned and keeps learning the craft from the best feltmakers from different countries and teaches herself for several years.
