The 2021 schedule for the Studio Gallery at the Bonifas Fine Arts Center.
January 7 - February 18, 2021
Come view what the artists have done for 100 days in the last 100 Day Project. The dates that the project ran were Jan. 22 - Apr. 30, 2020. This year was a hard year for all of us to focus, but some artists were still able to create every day. Normally we hold this exhibit to get people excited about doing the next 100 Day Project but this year the group has scaled back the project and will be doing weekly projects that started with the Winter Equinox which is Dec. 21, 2020.
May 20 - July 1, 2021
The Bonifas has gone to the Birds!!! This past year, the Bonifas applied for and received a grant from ArtBridges, an organization that strives to get American artwork into American galleries, and part of the grant was to make a community art project. We are working with the community to make a metal sculpture to go into Ludington Park which will feature painted metal birds. To get the community youth involved, we asked the local art teachers to have their students cut out and color paper birds. These birds will be featured in their very own Studio Gallery show. There will be birds everywhere. Some of the birds were in the Youth In Art exhibit but more have flocked in
since that show. Be sure to check out this fun exhibit.
July 9 - Augugt 27, 2021
The diverse crew of artists in this group come from the Central UpperPeninsula and Northern Wisconsin. They have many interests and talents in different mediums, which are evident in each of their artworks. Come see what they have been working on over the past few years. Artworks will be on display for enjoyment and some will be available for purchase. Support local!
September 10 - October 29, 2021
Graphic arts illustrator, and author, Kathy Kuszek will showcase her latest works. She had her artwork on display in the Kasota Gallery in 2016-17 as reward for winning Best in Show at the Waterfront Arts Festival in 2016. Everyone took quite the liking to her work as it showed the playful images of her characters as they adventured. Her talent and use of color are stunning and will be a sure stop on your way to the Main Gallery.
November 5 - December 17, 2021
