Just in time for the Christmas gift-giving season, the Bonifas is again hosting its annual Holiday Arts Fair. Artists will be selling their unique art and handcrafted creations at the Bonifas Arts Center at this fun, festive event.
The public is invited to attend the Holiday Arts Fair on Sat., Nov. 4 from 10 am to 4 p.m. The fair will also feature a bake sale supported by Bonifas volunteers, and a visit by Santa Claus.
According to Bonifas Events Planner Amanda Krok, this popular Holiday Arts Fair, which is in its twelfth year, will also feature a Young Artists Market, with area youth selling their handmade designs and artwork, along with a kids’ craft table.
“This is the perfect time for those early holiday shoppers to purchase that one-of-kind gift for someone special,” Krok said, “and this year, the Holiday Arts Fair will feature several new vendors. Some of the unique gift items that vendors will be selling this year include hand-dyed scarves, glass flowers, handcrafted jewelry, handmade mittens, and new this year, ocarinas, which are Raku-fired clay wind instruments.”
In conjunction with the Holiday Arts Fair, there will also be a Holiday Art Walk with more than 13 businesses taking part. Special maps will be given to people to guide them to visit and shop participating businesses. Shoppers will then return their maps back to the Bonifas by 4 p.m. to be entered into a prize drawing.
The Holiday Arts Fair and Holiday Art Walk are both free for the public to attend. For more information, please call the Bonifas at 906-786-3833.
