A traveling exhibit by the Michigan Watercolor Society is now on display at the Bonifas Arts Center. JJ Spaulding at the Bonifas says it features work from top artists from around the state.
"What I love about it is that you can't tell some of it is watercolor," Spaulding said. "Some of it is what you would expect to be watercolor. You can see the brush strokes, you can see the layers, you can see the 'water' within the color which is great. And then some you look at and it looks like an oil painting."
The show runs through September 10. The original show in Detroit included 90 works.
