The Portraits, a Marquette-based indie rock group, performed, and the Bonifas and NMU presented artistic merit awards.

Kristine Granger, arts faculty and fine arts coordinator at Bay College, selected the winners.

The exhibit, free and open to the public, will be on display through Feb. 23, and features “great ideas and exquisite ceramics and furniture design, beautifully executed from conceptual development to craftsmanship,” said Pasqua Warstler, Bonifas artistic director.

Granger was impressed with the quality of the work in the exhibit, so varied in medium and concept, and this made selecting winners a very difficult process, she said.
